Ark Invest increased its exposure to crypto related equities with approximately 18 million dollars in new purchases, extending a multi day accumulation trend in digital asset linked companies despite broader market volatility.
The investment firm added around 2 million dollars worth of shares in Bullish, marking its tenth consecutive trading day buying stock in the crypto exchange. Bullish shares slipped slightly in the latest session, closing near 31.71 dollars, though the stock has rebounded from recent lows around 24 dollars earlier in the month. Even with the recent recovery, shares remain down more than 16 percent year to date.
In addition to its Bullish position, Ark purchased roughly 12 million dollars in shares of Robinhood, the trading platform known for its significant retail crypto activity. Robinhood stock fell close to 9 percent during the session, closing near 71 dollars as technology stocks faced renewed selling pressure that also weighed on bitcoin and other digital assets.
Ark also acquired about 4 million dollars in shares of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, a firm focused on ether treasury strategies. Unlike much of the broader market, Bitmine shares posted a modest gain in the latest trading session, rising about 1.4 percent to close near 19.74 dollars.
The purchases come during a period of heightened volatility across both equity and crypto markets. Bitcoin has recently traded near the 68000 dollar range after retreating from earlier highs, while major technology indices have experienced sharp swings driven by macroeconomic uncertainty and shifting investor sentiment toward growth stocks.
Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, has maintained a long standing thesis around digital assets and blockchain infrastructure. The firm frequently uses market pullbacks to build positions in companies it views as strategically positioned for long term growth in crypto adoption and financial innovation.
Bullish, Robinhood, and Bitmine represent different segments of the crypto ecosystem. Bullish operates as a digital asset exchange, Robinhood provides retail trading access across equities and cryptocurrencies, and Bitmine manages exposure to ether as part of a treasury focused strategy. By spreading capital across multiple business models, Ark appears to be diversifying its crypto equity exposure rather than concentrating solely on one vertical.
The continued accumulation of Bullish shares over ten straight sessions signals conviction in exchange infrastructure despite softer trading volumes across the industry. Meanwhile, the Robinhood purchase suggests confidence in retail participation returning over time, even as near term trading activity fluctuates with macro conditions.
As traditional asset managers increasingly integrate crypto related equities into their portfolios, flows into publicly traded digital asset firms remain a closely watched indicator of institutional sentiment toward the sector’s long term prospects.
